Due to government guidelines we would like to politely remind everyone that both the play area and the M.U.G.A. are closed to the public until further notice. Please respect  this decision, that wasn’t taken lightly, and stay away. We will keep you posted with any changes.

Information from our district councilors

Your District Councillors , Steven Lydon and Nigel Studdert-Kennedy, are both obliged

to follow the most recent government advice in order to reduce potential pressures on

The National Health Service. This does not mean that they are not able to render help,

Albeit remotely. Their telephone numbers  and e-mail contacts are shown below together

With the number for the District Council.

N.B. Either one may respond on behalf of both to avoid duplication.  We will continue to

Monitor services delivered by Stroud District Council. However as we are sure that you

will understand the focus must be on the over 70s and vulnerable members of the

Community. All necessary information will be shared between the two councillors.

For the present time It is expected that Councillors will use e-mail and telecommunications

To discharge their duties. All Meetings are cancelled until further notice

Road Closure – Selsley Hill October 2nd – November 6th

Selsley Hill kerbing work

What: Road closure for kerbing works

Where: Selsley Hill – see attached for details of the exact location

When: 2nd October to 6th November 0930 to 1530 (excluding weekends)

On behalf of Gloucestershire County Council, we will shortly be improving the footway at the above location. Please see the map attached showing the extent of the scheme.

To ensure the safety of pedestrians, road users and our workforce, we will need to close the road. We will do everything we can to accommodate pedestrian access in and out of properties and apologise for any disruption.

Polite note, once the final surface is applied, please leave a couple of hours for the hot material to settle before you drive over it.

When the work starts, you will be able to speak directly with the construction team, who will keep you updated with progress on the works, in order to minimise any disruption to you.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your co-operation and hope the long-term benefits will outweigh any short-term delays.

Kind regards,

Max Kelly
