The Door youth engagement project

The Door youth project will be in the village conducting a youth engagement project, talking to the young people to gather some ideas of what the Parish Council can use to provide activities and services for the young people of the village.

They will be in the village Mondays 6.30-7.30pm

If you see Willow please say hello and engage with her as it’ll be a huge help to us.

Village Maintenance

The Parish Council has just had the rope swing bridge repaired after a spate of vandalism, we think you’ll agree it looks great again. we would like to remind everyone that the play equipment is there for all to enjoy but when it is deliberately damaged, repair and replacement comes at a cost which may mean other projects have to be postponed due to lack of funds so we encourage everyone to treat the equipment with respect as well as reporting and vandalism/damage directly to the PC.

We are also in the process of having the MUGA surface repaired so please take care when using the surface.

Information from our district councilors

Your District Councillors , Steven Lydon and Nigel Studdert-Kennedy, are both obliged

to follow the most recent government advice in order to reduce potential pressures on

The National Health Service. This does not mean that they are not able to render help,

Albeit remotely. Their telephone numbers  and e-mail contacts are shown below together

With the number for the District Council.

N.B. Either one may respond on behalf of both to avoid duplication.  We will continue to

Monitor services delivered by Stroud District Council. However as we are sure that you

will understand the focus must be on the over 70s and vulnerable members of the

Community. All necessary information will be shared between the two councillors.

For the present time It is expected that Councillors will use e-mail and telecommunications

To discharge their duties. All Meetings are cancelled until further notice
